This dynamic virtual training invites clinicians to move beyond traditional talk therapy and into the transformative power of creative arts in suicide prevention with LGBTQ+ clients. Grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, we’ll explore how minority stress, relational wounds, and identity invalidation shape suicide risk, and how expressive arts practices can offer something many clients haven’t experienced before: a sense of agency, voice, and belonging.
This training is open to clinicians nationwide. Pennsylvania-licensed social workers, marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional counselors are eligible to earn 1 CE credit in suicide prevention.
$75 for a limited time, then $90 one week before the training session.
